On Sunday, September 8, a man named Elias d'Imzalène harangued the crowd at the Place de la Nation, in Paris. Microphone in hand, he delivered his speech, standing. "Are we ready to lead the intifada in Paris? In our suburbs? In our neighbourhoods? he asked in the preamble.

"The road to liberation starts in Paris," he continued. "Soon, Jerusalem will be liberated and we will be able to pray at the Masjid al-Aqsa [the mosque on the Temple Mount]," the speaker then predicted, concluding his monologue by declaring: "The genocide has accomplices. Their names are Biden, their names are Macron, Macron the election thief, right? We know the thieves, who live in the Élysée and Matignon. We know them. And are we ready to fire them too?"

Imzalène is a forty-year-old man already very well known to the police. He is known for being one of the creators of the website "Islam and Info", a pro-Palestinian activist, an active member of the collective "urgence Palestine". He presents himself as a "Muslim community and political influencer". According to Europe 1 information, he is on the S file by the intelligence services, which consider him to be one of the main players in the dissemination of the thesis that the French state is Islamophobic.

Europe 1 revealed on Monday that the Ministry of the Interior was going to report to the prosecutor the remarks made by Elias d'Imzalène, for the part that calls for "waging an intifada in Paris".
