Chabad, Anti-Semitism

Oakland Chabad synagogue vandalized two times in two weeks.

Oakland police are probing two occurrences in which large rocks were thrown at the Chabad Center's window.

According to KGO TV, Oakland police are investigating two acts of vandalism at the Chabad Center, both involving giant rocks being thrown at the building's windows.

Rabbi Dovid Labkowski provided two surveillance videos: one depicting a person picking up and throwing a rock, and the other showing someone carrying and tossing a rock. The attacks damaged two windows, one of which is now covered in cracks.

Rabbi Labkowski explained that the windows had recently been fitted with thick ballistic glass due to fears of attacks on the congregation. "To me, it is clear it is antisemitism," he told KGO TV. "I am so outraged by this because this can happen again at any moment.
