Sweet treat for Kosher consumers
MrBeast’s Feastables chocolates go Kosher
The world’s biggest YouTube sensation has added a new offering to his growing business ventures: kosher-certified chocolate bars.

Jimmy Donaldson, known to millions as MrBeast, has built a giant and impressive empire. At just 26 years old, he commands an astonishing 375 million followers on YouTube, where his viral videos feature stunts, massive cash giveaways, and ambitious projects with titles like “Ages 1-100 Fight for $500,000” and “I Spent 50 Hours Buried Alive.” Each video on his main channel pulls in billions of views, with production costs soaring between $3 and $4 million per project.
But while his media operations reported an $80 million loss in 2024, MrBeast’s real success now lies in a surprising venture: Feastables, his chocolate brand. Launched in 2021 with Jim Murray, former president of RXbar, Feastables raked in roughly $250 million in sales last year, netting about $20 million in profit, according to Forbes. Now, the brand has earned kosher certification from the Orthodox Union (OU), the world’s most recognized kosher authority.
The certification process began in February for Feastables’ U.S. products, designating the chocolate bars as kosher and dairy. Plans are in motion to extend kosher-certified bars to Canada and Mexico this spring, with Europe and Australia following in the fall. The OU, which certifies up to 70% of kosher food products globally at times was thrilled at this devlopment, "Parents and kids alike are thrilled that they can now enjoy Feastables. Our communities are excited to be part of this cultural phenomenon," said Rabbi Moshe Elefant, OU Chief Operating Officer.
Feastables started small, sold exclusively at Walmart three years ago, but has since exploded into a global brand. More than 100 people now work for the company, which has become the fastest-growing chocolate brand worldwide. Beast Industries projects that Feastables will triple in size over the next two years, with media revenue shrinking to just one-fifth of total sales by 2026. "As the fastest-growing global chocolate brand, we want to ensure our products are enjoyed by as many people as possible around the world," said Alexandre Zigliara, CEO of Feastables. "That’s why we’re working hard to make sure our chocolate products meet a wide variety of religious, cultural, and dietary standards."
What began as a YouTube channel known for extravagant challenges has pivoted in an unlikely direction, with Feastables leading the charge.
Kosher consumers, especially Mr. Beast fans, are thrilled that this sweet treat has joined the ranks of kosher chocolate.
