For the fourth time: President of Argentina visits the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

Javier Milei, the President of Argentina, arrived in New York ahead of his participation in the 79th UN General Assembly. However, before the event, Milei chose to visit the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Milei, known for his interest in Judaism and particularly in Hasidic teachings, arrived at the cemetery in Queens, New York.

The President wore a large black kippah and was seen putting a donation into the tzedoka box at the site. He was accompanied by his sister and advisor Karina Milei, Argentina's ambassador to Israel, and his spiritual advisor, Simon Axel Wahnish.

This is Milei's fourth visit to this site, known as "The Ohel" among Chabad Hasidim. The President lit a candle in memory of the Rebbe and prayed at his grave, demonstrating familiarity with the local minhagim.

Despite being raised Catholic, Milei is known as an admirer of the Chabad Rebbe and his teachings. "This visit reflects the President's ongoing interest in Jewish philosophy and the personal connection he feels towards the legacy of the Chabad Rebbe," his entourage said.
