Plane returns to Israel after passenger attacks crew members

El Al clarified that this was not a security incident: "We have zero tolerance for violence."

A passenger on an El Al flight that departed this morning (Thursday) from Israel to Tbilisi, Georgia attacked crew members on the plane. Following the incident, the plane returned to Israel and the passenger was arrested upon landing.

El Al stated that: "this is not a security incident. The company views the incident seriously and is taking all measures required according to the procedures and the law in coordination with the relevant enforcement authorities. We have zero tolerance for violence."
