In his speech two days ago, (Friday) Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that "the death of the seven Iranians in the Israeli attack in Damascus is a big deal for us." According to Nasrallah, the Iranian operatives had historical value for the "resistance axis."

Nasrallah added that the killing of the seven Iranians was a significant event that will have severe consequences, including an Iranian response.

In addition, he specifically referred to Hassan Mahdavi, the commander of the Iranian Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon who was killed in an attack attributed to Israel, saying that "he played a big role in the resistance in Lebanon for many years."
