British media is reporting that King Charles III asked to be updated on the death of the three British army personnel who were killed by the Israeli Air Force attack.
"The king shows great interest in the developments," read the news websites in the kingdom. "His Majesty requested that the British diplomatic mission inform him personally." At the same time, British media is reporting that, "it will not be surprising if he takes the death of the Royal Marines to heart considering his military past".
As a reminder, an air force attack in Gaza killed seven aid workers in Gaza, including three British citizens. In Britain, they were outraged by the case and summoned Israel's ambassador to Britain, Tzipi Hotoveli, for a hearing.
British Foreign Minister David Cameron wrote: "The news about the airstrike that killed WCK aid workers in Gaza is very worrying", and in addition he spoke with Foreign Minister Katz and asked him to provide an "urgent explanation."
Charles III has been showing interest in the war since the October 7 attack, when he deviated from his practice and chose to express his opinion publicly. "I am horrified by the barbaric acts of terrorism," he wrote at the time.
