The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic released a map a short time ago today (Wednesday) calling on residents of part of Jebaliya to evacuate to the center of Gaza City.
The Spokesperson said that an IDF operation was coming to the area following rocket fire at Israeli towns and despite multiple warnings to avoid doing so, and that the evacuation order is a preemption before an IDF attack.
The IDF has been operating very energetically in the north - especially in the Jebaliya, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia areas - to root out and destroy Hamas forces and infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip, after first encircling them from the south.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said today that if Hamas did not release the hostages soon, the IDF would hit them much harder than they have in a long time, and even called on Gazans to rise up and defeat Hamas, which uses them as human shields, anyway.
