Following his successful appeal to the American President of the UN Security Council to convene an emergency meeting in response to Houthi actions, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar called today (Monday) on X for the nations of the world to declare the Houthis to be terrorists.
In his post, Sa'ar said that "the Houthis, an Iranian proxy, have launched, for over a year, incessant missile and drone attacks at Israeli citizens and communities and disrupted international shipping routes. The Houthis have also taken hostages, including UN workers."
In the face of Houthi drones and attacks, Israel has launched four large scale air strikes on Houthi infrastructure, including Houthi-held ports and the airport in Sana'a, shutting them all down functionally.
