This is the message given to families of the Hostages

Is a deal closing in? The hostage manager has updated the families

The Prime Minister's Office sent an update and clarified the rumors regarding the developing hostage deal. They outlined the challenges to the families, claimed that the media reports do not accurately depict the situation, and expressed optimism: "The team has been in Doha for several days, and circumstances have arisen for effective negotiations."

The Captives, Returnees, and Missing Persons Administration in the Prime Minister's Office, headed by Yaron Cohen, issued an update to families this evening regarding the ongoing negotiation efforts. This is part of the administration's role, among other things, to reflect the repatriation efforts to the families.

And thus it was stated in the announcement: "Dear families, throughout the recent period and even at this very moment, efforts to negotiate the return of the abducted continue. Our work team has been in Doha for several days."

The activity to bring back your loved ones-our loved ones is being carried out in various fields and in a variety of ways, all the time, by all the parties involved in this central issue. Last Thursday, the U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan visited here and the region. A significant part of his discussions here dealt with the issue of POWs and MIAs (Prisoners of War and Missing in Action).

They also added: "This week, Mr. Adam Boehler, appointed by President-elect Trump as the presidential envoy for Middle Eastern affairs, visited our region. During his private visit, he is holding introductory meetings and updates on Middle Eastern issues with leaders in the region."

As reflected in the situation reports – the overall regional situation, American influence, and the status of the campaign – all these factors and more have converged to promote the possibility of effective negotiations. However, it is important to clarify that even though the conditions have improved, there is still a long way to go and challenges ahead. We are working and hoping for a breakthrough.

Regarding the published details, they noted: "We are very strict about confidentiality concerning negotiations and would like to remind you again that various publications in foreign and Israeli media do not necessarily reflect the situation as it is and what is truly happening. We are always committed to the return of all hostages, both the living and the deceased."

And finally, a meeting with the families was allowed: "We are aware of the anxiety, the difficult feelings, and the uncertainty. For any questions or clarifications, you can contact us, and any family wishing for a personal review of prisoners and missing persons by the POW/MIA coordinator is invited to coordinate with the representative of the administration accompanying the family."
