IDF continues to find weapons in southern Lebanon

Forces of the 98th Division including combat teams of the 7th Brigade, the Commando Brigade, and the Paratrooper Brigades conducted division-sized operations in the previous three months in the heart of villages used by Hezbollah as terror bases in southern Lebanon such as Kila, Markaba, and Khiam.

During the last few weeks, their focus was on Khiam, a central Hezbollah terror base. The IDF eliminated multiple terrorists there and located and destroyed more than 300 terrorist infrastructures.

Ever since the ceasefire has gone into effect, forces of the division have continued operations while adhering to the ceasefire rules, with the aim of locating and destroying terrorist arms and preventing Hezbollah from establishing themselves in southern Lebanon again.
