The IDF have discovered and destroyed a sophisticated underground tunnel system near the Lebanon border, military officials announced today. The tunnel network, which extended for dozens of meters, included firing positions directed toward Israeli civilian communities and military outposts.

The operation was carried out by Brigade 188, whose engineering units located a significant cache of weapons, including mortars and rockets, within the underground complex. The entire infrastructure has since been demolished.

Meanwhile, Brigade 769 continues to maintain defensive positions along the northern border in the Galilee region. Over the past week, the unit has conducted several successful operations, neutralizing multiple militant threats and seizing various weapons.
