Former IRGC Chief: Israel plans to conquer Iran after taking Gaza and Lebanon

Meanwhile, the deputy commander of the IRGC defiantly stated that Iran will continue to support all its anti-Israel proxies and will deliver a "crushing response" to Israel.

Former IRGC Chief Commander Mohsen Rezaei said that Israel's "plan is to advance toward Iran after Gaza and Lebanon, and even if we did not respond to any of their aggressions, they would still continue their actions," according to Iran International.

Meanwhile, the serving Deputy IRGC Chief said that Israel "cannot threaten us and act against us while expecting us to display restraint" and that "the Islamic Republic firmly supports the Resistance Front, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and others, and will deliver a decisive and crushing response to the Zionist enemy."

Israel remains on high alert, bracing for a possible massive Iranian missile and drone attack, either from Iranian soil or from multiple proxies such as the Houthis in Yemen or militias in Iran - or both.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi Prime Minister is reportedly working to ensure Iran does not use Iraqi territory to launch its attack, so that Israel does not retaliate in kind.
