IDF eliminates key Hamas operative in Nur a-Shams in Samaria
Husam Malah, a key operative in Hamas' terrorist network operated out of the Nur a-Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm; aircraft attacked a squad of armed terrorists who fired at IDF soldiers.


The IDF announced that since last night (Wednesday to Thursday), the IDF, Border Police and the Shin Bet soldiers have been operating in the Nur a-Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm, and have killed terrorist Husam Mellah, a key operative in Hamas' terrorist network in the sector.
Mellah was involved in planning terrorist attacks in the immediate future. The terrorist was eliminated a few days after his predecessor was assassinated.
During the operation, an aircraft attacked a squad of armed terrorists who fired at our forces.
In recent months, and as part of Operation Summer Camps, a number of similar squads were destroyed in Tulkarem and Jenin, with Tulkarem being the scene of the largest such attack, which killed 14 terrorists.
