Following indications of terrorism and terrorists establishing themselves in the hospital, the forces of Division 162 and the Shin Bet forces raided the Kamal Adwan hospital in Jabaliya.
Before the troops entered, civilians were allowed to leave the hospital. Hundreds of guards were evacuated and dozens of terrorists tried to escape from the hospital when the IDF forces entered.
Elite commandos from Shayetet 13 located weapons, terrorist funds and Hamas documents in and around the hospital.
The forces arrested terrorists who had barricaded themselves in the hospital, including terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre.
The terrorists were interrogated by field investigators of Unit 504 and transferred to Israel for further investigation.
During the operation, an additional generator was used in the hospital to supply electricity and oxygen regularly to the ventilators and the patients in the hospital.
