Amit Segal: Netanyahu ignores Ben Gvir, which is fine with Ben Gvir

Channel 12 reporter and political commentator Amit Segal says that Itamar Ben Gvir's attacks on Netanyahu are just for show.

Channel 12 political commentator Amit Segal addressed the constant attacks against Prime Minister Netanyahu by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, wondering how long Netanyahu will put up with it.

During a Channel 12 newscast, he gave his own take, noting that Ben Gvir has found a comfortable position absolving him of actual responsibility while being able to hurl criticism from the inside: "It's convenient for Ben Gvir to not be partner to the hard questions, because he has no orderly plan, he has no idea of the condition of the army. It's best for him like this - (he has) both (government) positions and gets to be the (unofficial) Chairman of the State Control Committee. Ben Gvir today is an opposition within the coalition."
