The terrorists in question were responsible for leading and directing terrorist attacks from Judea and Samaria. The IDF is investigating the cause of fire possibly spreading from the strike to nearby civilian tents.

The strike in Rafah last night (Sunday) targeted two senior Hamas leaders, Yassin Rabia, the head of Hamas' headquarters in Judea and Samaria, and Khaled Najjar, another senior member of the unit, who were responsible for directing terrorist attacks.
According to the IDF, the strike was conducted based on precise intelligence and weapons and in accordance with international law.
The IDF said it was examining how a fire possibly spread from the location of the strike, reportedly killing between 35 and 50 civilians.
