Honey Cake

Ingredients:

Medium-sized egg

100 grams white sugar (can be substituted with brown sugar)

100 grams honey

30 grams canola oil

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and oil a disposable English cake pan.

Mix the eggs, sugar, and honey thoroughly in a bowl. After thorough mixing, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda, and mix well.

Place the batter in a baking pan, sprinkle sliced almonds on top, and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out dry.

How should you break the fast?

After a full day of fasting, our bodies will have a hard time digesting heavy food. Therefore, it's important to break the fast gradually, starting with rehydration by drinking fluids and then reintroducing energy with simple carbohydrates. Only after breaking the fast properly with a piece of cake and a cup of water or tea should you proceed to a regular meal.
