Argentinian President Javier Milei continues his efforts to significantly downsize the government and get spending and inflation under control. Now he has issued a new order to not renew the contracts of 7,000 public employees who joined the government in 2023, according to reporting by VOZ Media.

The order does not cover permanent employees or those who were hired by the administration or public companies before 2023, although Javier's administration did announce it would be conducting a performance review of an additional 45,000 public sector workers in the coming weeks.
