Alright, luxury lovers, buckle up—it’s that time of year where I unleash my inner bag-obsessed detective and spill the tea on the hottest handbag drops of 2025.

Let’s dive into the fabulous world of 2025’s handbag elite.

Fendi Mama Baguette: Slouchy Chic

Subscribe to our newsletter

First up, the Fendi Mama Baguette—a vintage-inspired re-release. Think of it as the baguette’s taller, more laid-back sister, crafted in buttery soft Nappa leather with a slouchy vibe that screams effortless cool. It’s got a drawstring closure for that perfect scrunch, and it comes in three sizes—small, medium, large—plus some adorable Nano versions. Colors? A dreamy blush pink, a classic beige, and a quirky “matcha” shade (which, let’s be real, looks more like matcha gone rogue). There’s a tonal leather FF clasp, but if you’ve got $9,000 burning a hole in your pocket, the fully beaded floral version is a collector’s dream—just don’t snag it on your jacket. They’re also doing it in python, and for an exotic, the price isn’t bad. This is your everyday fab bag—zero overthinking required.

Chanel 25: Dua Lipa’s Darling

Next, the Chanel 25—a numbered bag, which means it’s here to stay, unlike those fleeting seasonal flings. Dua Lipa’s the campaign star, and this drawstring beauty is giving toggle realness with those iconic CCs fastening the front. It’s got a chain top handle, side pouches, and a pyramid-like collapse when you wear it—casual luxe at its finest. Available in black, beige, and denim (yes, denim!), it’s already a personal shopper’s nightmare—stores can’t keep it in stock. It’s a fresh twist on their roster, outshining the Chanel 22 and that Nano “Kelly” shopping bag everyone’s obsessed with. This is the Chanel style of 2025—mark my words.

Coach Empire: The Tote Takeover Continues

Subscribe to our newsletter

Coach’s Empire bag is back and better, after storming 2024 like a tote tornado. This year, they’ve dropped an east-west shoulder version, the Empire 34—a roomy, fill-your-life-in-it stunner with adjustable gussets and a zip closure. Winter 2025 runway vibes say it’s sticking around as a permanent fixture, but I’ve got a bone to pick: the colors (dark brown, light brown, black) are snooze-worthy compared to last year’s burnished reds and blues. Still, it’s a worthy rival to the Row’s Margaux, and I’m betting on seasonal variations to spice it up later. Practical, chic, and here to slay.

Bottega Veneta Ciao Ciao: Matteo’s Farewell

Say “ciao” to Matteo Blazy’s last Bottega bag—the Ciao Ciao. At first, I thought it was just an Andiamo remix, but no—this smooth leather beauty’s got its own flavor. Two sizes (medium and large), a Birkin-esque flap with a hidden hook (or an internal intrecciato divider option), and strap versatility galore—top handle, braided knot strap, detachable crossbody. Colors like a legit matcha (take notes, Fendi) and a fab pink make it pop, with a suede interior sealing the deal. It’s an evolution of the Andiamo’s popularity, and I’d pick it for the extra wearability. Bottega’s saying goodbye to Matteo with a bang—this one’s a hit.

Gucci Bamboo Diva: Elegance Unleashed

Gucci’s Bamboo Diva is divine. An east-west spin on the 1947 Bamboo bag, it’s sleek, elongated, and dripping in elegance. The brass-and-enamel top handle matches the bag (black, lilac, khaki), with a bamboo turn-lock and shiny, stiff leather that’s not quite patent but gleams like it. There’s a crossbody strap, a mirrored sleeve (two-in-one, anyone?), and a cheaper monochrome version (lime green hardware, single compartment). The clutch take swaps the handle for a chain—cute! It’s exclusive—only in-store, no online grabs—which screams Gucci’s Birkin play. I’m sold, especially that acrylic handle version. White bags scare me (turmeric fingers, anyone?), but this one’s tempting.

Miu Miu Adventure: Edgy Ease

The Miu Miu Adventure (not “Adventurer,” I misread that for ages) is a small, hemispherical zip-top gem with a belt-and-lock detail that’s peak Miu Miu—young, edgy, practical. Black, oak, and “brierwood” (what even is that?) keep it grounded, with a crossbody strap and feet for extra cred. It’s more daytime than evening, but challenge accepted if you’re bold. Three sizes exist, but the small’s my pick—user-friendly and effortlessly cool.

Savette Symmetry Pochette: Still Reigning

The Savette Symmetry Pochette ruled 2024, and its reign continues. Suede or leather, roomy yet chic, it’s a careless-girl’s dream—I’ve thrashed mine, and she’s still pristine. New colors drop this year, and the Slim Symmetry Pochette (Kelly-cut vibes with leather trim) is its sleek sister. Lightweight, elegant, and selling out fast—Savette’s got a permanent winner here.

Hermès Shoulder Birkin: East-West Royalty

The Hermès Shoulder Birkin’s finally hitting stores after a maddening delay (Spring/Summer 2024, anyone?). A Jean Paul Gaultier re-edition, it’s an east-west shoulder stunner in denim and leather—gray with gold hardware is divine. Downsides? The 29cm size is smaller than the vintage 41-42cm originals, and it’s a tight shoulder fit with a coat. I don’t care—I love her vibe. It’s the Hermès bag of 2025, trust me.

Loro Piana Kashgar: Cherry Blossom Hype

Loro Piana’s Kashgar bag—yes, I’m over talking about it too—drops its cherry blossom edition next month after the multicolor frenzy. Smaller runs, less fanfare, but still a 2025 must-mention. Keep your eyes peeled—it’ll sell out, quieter or not.

Alaïa Teckel Bag: Strappy Perfection

The Alaïa Teckel bag’s long straps and dachshund body keep it hot from 2024. New colors fly off shelves—white and black linger, but bold shades vanish. Clutch versions add evening flair, and it’s cemented as Alaïa’s forever piece. Shimmy it over a coat—true shoulder bag goals.

YSL Crystal Mini Bag: Tiny Opulence

The Saint Laurent Crystal Mini Bag (I’m skipping the full name) is a chandelier in purse form—fully encrusted, with the YSL Cassandra logo front and center. It fits a credit card and a key—impractical, fabulous, and the ultimate evening flex. Pre-order or hunt it down; it’s a restock roulette. I’m obsessed.

Bonus: Aupen Lyaata Range

Aupen’s Lyaata bags—shoulder totes in suede, grained leather, or croc—feel like a bag within a bag. The suede’s my fave: simple, zippered, and cool enough for work or coffee shop vibes. The small shoulder version (violet, silver) sold out online, but restocks are coming. Great price, great design—Aupen’s girls know what’s up.
