Cellist Matthew Jamal has joined Madonna's renewed tour after she was forced to cancel it due to an undisclosed bug. In a story he published last night (Tuesday) on his Instagram page, Jamal attacked the Israelis who came to Madonna's performance and declared that he would not play for them even if they paid for a ticket.

"You came to the concert yesterday, proud of your people, your government, your occupation, sitting in the first row and bragging about your settler flag, and you expected me to play with a smile," wrote Jamal "If you support this genocide, you may have bought a ticket, but just know that I'm not playing for you."

Jamal continued to attack, siding with the Palestinians and made it clear: "Just to be clear. Free Palestine, and the rest of my black and brown friends around the world who suffer at the hands of colonialism."

As mentioned, at the beginning of the war, Madonna published a post in support of Israel in which she wrote that she was praying for Israel, the kidnapped and the murdered, but she still did not refer to Jamal's story.
