Shock discovery: Lawyer smuggles cell phone to terrorist—Then police find weapons

What initially seemed like a simple smuggling attempt turned into a far more serious case after a thorough investigation revealed shocking evidence of the suspect’s involvement with weapons and potential security threats.

The incident unfolded when the lawyer arrived at the military court at Ofer Prison. A routine security check by Israel Prison Service soldiers revealed that the lawyer was concealing a small cell phone with a SIM card, which he intended to deliver to his imprisoned brother.
