On Sunday, officers raided a family compound where they discovered a range of illegal operations, including an unlicensed barbershop operating without the necessary permits. But the most shocking discovery came when they found evidence of illegal drug trafficking in the vicinity. Among the drugs seized were Ritalin, Penta, Klonopin, and what appeared to be cannabis, hashish, and various unidentified powders suspected to be illicit drugs.

Authorities seized a staggering 250 boxes of drugs and more than 14,000 NIS in cash from the premises. Additionally, enforcement officers confiscated a motorcycle belonging to the barbershop’s owner due to unpaid debts to the state. The barbershop owner was promptly detained for questioning, with authorities suspecting him of operating without a license and trafficking illegal substances.

The police operation didn’t stop there. Following the initial raid, authorities turned their attention to two horse stables being used as a horse boarding facility in the village of Truman. There, they found yet another unauthorized business: a therapeutic swimming pool that was operating without the required permits. The discovery escalated when three illegal residents were found at the location.

The Israel Land Authority is now pursuing legal action against the landholder, while the farm has been temporarily closed for 15 days due to the employment of illegal workers. This operation, carried out in collaboration with various enforcement agencies, underscores the ongoing effort to ensure public safety and eliminate illegal activities within the community.

This shocking revelation paints a troubling picture of organized illegal activity hiding in plain sight, and it serves as a reminder of the importance of proactive enforcement to keep our communities safe.
