The lifeless body of a 6-year-old boy was discovered in an apartment in Herzliya, showing clear signs of violence. Upon receiving the report, a substantial police contingent along with forensic experts swiftly arrived at the scene, which was cordoned off for investigation. The boy's grandmother was the one who found his body, leading to the arrest of the mother by law enforcement officials.

Suspected murder in Herzliya: Tonight (Tuesday), the body of a 6-year-old boy was found in an apartment on Khalil Street in the city, displaying signs of violence. A significant police presence was deployed to the scene, and shortly thereafter, the mother was apprehended on suspicion of involvement in the incident.

Around 9:00 PM, police received a report of a child's body discovered in a Herzliya apartment. Upon arrival, officers noted signs of violence on the body and initiated a homicide investigation. Initial information indicated that the boy's grandmother had found him deceased in the apartment.

Yariv Fisher, Mayor of Herzliya, expressed profound shock at the incident, stating, "At this moment, municipal police and social worker teams are on-site to assist law enforcement and support the neighbourhood residents."

Police confirmed they found the body of a 6-year-old boy in his Herzliya home and are treating the case as a murder investigation. Reports from the media suggest that his mother was arrested while wielding an axe in the city.

Law enforcement dispatched a large number of officers to the scene after discovering the body with visible signs of violence.

The Hebrew media reports indicate that police are exploring a possible connection between this tragic incident and an earlier altercation in Herzliya, where a woman armed with an axe injured a security guard at the Seven Stars mall.

The woman, reported to be 33 years old, was allegedly seen covered in blood outside the mall, wielding the axe. Police intervened and detained her after the guard sustained minor injuries.

Walla news site reports identify the woman as the mother of the deceased boy.

Further details are currently unavailable.
