Man seriously injured from shooting in Tel Aviv 

Rescue forces called to the scene of the shooting evacuated a young man, approximately 20 years old, to Wolfson Hospital during resuscitation efforts, as he was in critical condition. Police have launched an investigation and arrived at the scene to collect evidence. The background is criminal.

The violent incident occurred this evening (Monday) on Yaffo Street in Tel Aviv. Emergency response teams provided medical treatment to the young man and transferred him to Wolfson Hospital in critical condition with penetrating injuries during ongoing resuscitation efforts.

Police forces arrived at the scene and collected evidence. The incident is under criminal investigation.

Anwar Shakwai, a senior paramedic from Magen David Adom's motorcycle unit, recounted: "The injured man was unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing, suffering from penetrating injuries. We immediately began resuscitation procedures, including CPR, ventilation, administering medication, and transferred him during ongoing resuscitation efforts while he was in critical condition."
