Haifa police are investigating a shooting incident on Abarbanel Street today, where emergency responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed the death of a 30-year-old man at the scene. Another man, aged 35, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Rambam Hospital. The incident is being treated as criminal.

Yehuda Rotenshtraich, an emergency medical technician with MDA, described the scene: "Upon arrival, we found two individuals with gunshot wounds. One was unresponsive, without a pulse or breathing, and despite our efforts, we were unable to save him. The second individual was conscious and able to walk, receiving immediate medical attention before being rushed to Rambam Hospital."

This morning, the victim was identified as Khalil Shaheen, a resident of Tamra in his twenties, who succumbed to his injuries despite overnight efforts by medical staff to save him.
