A man in his 30s was found shot to death near the northern town of Pardes Hanna on Sunday night, in what police suspect to be an organized-crime-related homicide.
The man’s identity remains unknown at this time.
According to the Times of Israel, Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report around 11:45 p.m. that a man was found unconscious in farmland next to the Pardes Hanna cemetery. Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the man showing no signs of life, pronouncing him dead shortly thereafter.
This suspected murder follows closely on the heels of another violent incident in the area. Just days ago, two brothers from the Arab Israeli town of Jisr az-Zarqa were shot to death near the grocery store in Pardes Hanna-Karkur where they worked. The victims, Karim and Mustafa Abu Hamad, were aged 18 and 20, respectively.
These incidents are part of a broader wave of deadly crime across Israel, which has disproportionately affected the Arab community. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding these recent killings.
