An indictment was filed today (Sunday) against the actress Maisa Abd Elhadi for incitement, following her posts on her Instagram page that supported Hamas actions. Elhadi was arrested last week in connection with these posts but was released last Wednesday.

As previously mentioned, after Hamas' deadly attack on October 7th, Elhadi shared images on social media with laughing emojis and the caption: "Let's do it Berlin style." Elhadi was brought to the police station, where she was interrogated and arrested.

Following her arrest, the Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended her detention as per the police's request until October 26. However, a day before that date, it was decided to release her. A judge from the Nazareth Magistrate's Court explained the reason for her release, stating that "there is considerable doubt whether the posts constitute a criminal offense." Nevertheless, the police and the state prosecution continued their investigation, and this morning, it was decided to file charges against her, as mentioned.
