Samantha Woll, a Detroit Synagogue President, Found Stabbed
Woll was found stabbed this morning outside her home in Detroit. According to the Detroit Free Press, Woll was one of the leaders of the American Jewish Committee’s ACCESS Detroit Young Leadership Program and founded the Muslim-Jewish Forum of Detroit.

According to a report by Violet Ikonomova of Detroit Free Press, Samantha Woll, leader of the Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue since 2022, was found stabbed - dead - outside her home in Detroit. Police stated that the body had been stabbed multiple times.
In the synagogues statement, they said they are "shocked and saddened," referring to the death as "unexpected." "At this point we do not have more information, but will share more when it becomes available. May her memory be a blessing."
Woll was one of the leaders of the American Jewish Committee’s ACCESS Detroit Young Leadership Program and founded the Muslim-Jewish Forum of Detroit, whose goal was building relationships between young adults of those religions.
The Detroit Jewish News stated: "By extending her hand and creating space for connection between Muslims and Jews, she has exemplified the values of healing the world."
Police continue to investigate, looking for a possible motive, as reported by Detroit Free Press.
