In the past day, the police arrested 13 suspects who were involved in violent incidents and shootings in the Bedouin community.

Operation 'First Rain' – During the past week, police officers and special forces in the southern district acted against perpetrators of crime and violent incidents related to various disputes within the Bedouin community. They arrested 13 suspects involved in violent incidents, firearm use, and illegal possession of weapons, and confiscated a pistol and a Kalashnikov rifle.

As part of Operation 'First Rain,' police forces searched residential areas in the Hura settlement, where they discovered a 'Berta' pistol and a 'Kalashnikov' firearm, an ammunition clip and ammunition caches.

During the searches, 2 suspects, residents of the settlement, were arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal firearms. Additionally, last night, 2 residents of the Tel Sheva settlement were arrested while driving on Highway 60 near the settlement on suspicion of involvement in shooting incidents.

The vehicles were located after their identification plates were recognized as matching. The vehicle occupants were detained for questioning, and the vehicles were seized as part of the opened investigation. Four suspects, residents of Rahat, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in violent incidents and stone-throwing during family disputes. In addition, a resident of the city was arrested on suspicion of throwing a stun grenade towards a house in neighborhood 21.

In the wake of a violent incident that occurred on Saturday at a gas station at the Beit Kama junction, police forces conducted searches in the residential areas of Alhozeil and arrested 4 local residents.
