The violence is rampant: a 7-year-old boy from Rahat was seriously injured in a shooting incident

The violence in the Arab sector continues to rage, and today (Thursday) it was reported that a 7-year-old boy was brought to the Rahat MDA station after apparently being injured in a shooting incident in the city. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in a serious and stable condition with a penetrating injury.

MDA paramedic Najib Sana said: "They brought us a boy who was conscious and suffered from a penetrating injury to his body. We immediately put him in an intensive care vehicle and evacuated him to the hospital while providing medical treatment as his condition was serious.

The Israel Police stated that Rahat police forces began to carry out investigative operations at the same time as efforts to locate those involved in the incident. It was also reported that the background and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
