The struggle against crime in the Arab sector: the numbers are revealed

As part of the 'Safe Green Route' enforcement operation by the Israel Police in the fight against crime in the Arab society, it was reported that approximately 141 suspects were arrested, and charges were filed against 68 targets defined as central perpetrators of crime. Additionally, since the beginning of the year, there have been around 1,496 incidents of illegal possession of ammunition and 1,041 firearms were seized, which were held in violation of the law.

In addition, the police confiscated approximately 135,579 bullets of various types, 3,619 fireworks, 53 hunting rifles, 190 rifles of different types, 401 non-licensed firearms, 1,130 improvised weapons, 374 grenades, and 163 explosive devices.

As reported (Wednesday), a resident of Lod was murdered after an explosion occurred in his car while driving in the neighborhood of Da'amash in the city. The direction of the investigation is being examined. The number of fatalities since the beginning of the year stands at 133 people.
