Due to the War: 84,618 New Requests for Unemployment Money
While reporting this number, the National Insurance Institute also noted that there has been a large increase in the number of furloughed workers since the end of October.

The National Insurance Institute announced today (Wednesday) that since the outbreak of war, some 84,616 people have registered to receive unemployment pay.
A statement released by the Institute stated that the sectors producing the most such requests are the retail, hospitality, and food branches. It also stated that from the beginning of October, the NII has received 86,239 requests for unemployment pay. Since the disaster of October 7, some 84,616 requests for unemployment pay have been received until now, with 61,500 being unwillingly furloughed and 23,118 requesting unemployment for other reasons such as dismissal.
31,180 Unwillingly Furloughed in November
The NII statement also stated that since the beginning of November, 35,577 requests have been received for unemployment, with 31,180 being from those unwillingly furloughed and 4,397 for other reasons. According to NII data, the great exodus from the economy via furloughing took place between October 22 and 31, and requests have only continued to climb in November.
