When it comes to the Jews, the Vatican's sickening silence is nothing new
Today's Vatican may speak of brotherhood and reconciliation, but its response to October 7th suggests old habits die hard. Just as the Church took centuries to acknowledge its role in promoting antisemitism, perhaps it will take centuries more before it can truly stand unequivocally against Jewish persecution.
