In a disturbing development that has rocked Australia's healthcare system, police have uncovered morphine vials and other controlled substances in the hospital locker of a Sydney healthcare worker who was recently filmed threatening to kill Israeli patients.

Ahmad "Rashad" Nadir, who was suspended from Bankstown Hospital after appearing in a viral video making violent antisemitic threats, attempted to conceal evidence by asking a colleague to clear his locker before police could search it, Australian media reported Sunday. The colleague immediately alerted authorities, leading to the discovery of illegally possessed morphine and other drugs.

The finding adds a sinister dimension to the already shocking case that began when Nadir and his colleague Sarah Abu Labda were filmed bragging about their refusal to treat Israeli patients. In the video, shared by Israeli content creator Max Wiper, Nadir is heard saying "You have no idea how many Israeli dogs came to the hospital, and I'm sending them to hell," while Abu Labda declared "I won't treat them (Israelis), I'll kill them."

When told by Wiper that he was Israeli, Nadir responded that he would be "killed and sent to Jahannam (Hell)," adding "It makes me so angry that you're Israeli. Eventually you'll be murdered and go to hell inshallah."

Police have indicated that additional evidence was found during the search, which will be included in formal charges against both healthcare workers. The discovery of controlled substances in Nadir's possession has intensified concerns about patient safety and sparked outrage across Australia's medical community.

Both workers were employed by New South Wales Health Service until the video surfaced, leading to their immediate suspension. This latest development has transformed what began as a case of hate speech into a potential criminal investigation involving theft of hospital drugs, with authorities now examining whether any patients may have been harmed.
