In response to Histadrut chief Arnon Bar-David’s announcement of a nationwide general strike beginning tomorrow morning, a spokesperson for the influential labor federation has confirmed that Ben Gurion International Airport will be affected.

The general strike will commence at 6 a.m., but the airport will halt all arrivals and departures starting at 8 a.m.

When asked about the duration of the airport’s closure, the spokesperson told The Times of Israel that it is "unclear" at this time and added that a comprehensive list of all workplaces participating in the strike will be released later.
