Globes: Israel's cheaper Terminal 1 to reopen, allowing cheaper airlines to return

After being closed down at the start of the war, Ben Gurion Airport's Terminal 1 is coming back online on June 2, allowing for more and cheaper flights to more destinations.

Ben Gurion Airport's Terminal 1 is set to reopen for international flights at the beginning of June, allowing for more and cheaper flights to more destinations, according to a report by Globes.

Terminal 1, which has fewer amenities and costs less for airlines to use, was shut down due to the collapse in user demand, the departure of foreign airlines, and the draft of many of the airport workers.

Now that the terminal is reopening, low cost airlines such as Ryanair which balked at using the more expensive Terminal 3 are returning to service the country.
