Air Canada announced that it was delaying returning to Israel until the beginning of August, according to a report by Globes. The airline thus joins United and EasyJet, which are also not returning to service the country until June and October respectively.

According to Globes, the delay comes due to the Iran drone and missile attack in mid-April, which led the companies to announce a delay in restoring service.

This means that for the present time, only El-Al provides direct flights from Israel to North America, and all other flights involve at least one layover.
