News for swimmers: A week after the closure of beaches throughout the city, the Ministry of Health updated this morning (Monday) about the removal of the bathing warning from all the beaches in Rishon LeZion. The removal of the warning comes following the receipt of valid bacterial results in the seawater at the beaches.
As mentioned, last week bathing warnings were issued for 6 beaches throughout Rishon LeZion, following the receipt of abnormal bacterial results in seawater quality tests. Last Wednesday, bathing warnings were reported at Tel Yona, Hofit, HaYeladim, and the separate Beaches, and a day later Neve Hof Beach was added to the list. On Friday, an additional bathing warning was reported at HaKahol Beach in the city, after receiving abnormal laboratory results.
On the other hand, last week the Ministry of Health announced the reopening of the separate beach in Haifa, due to satisfactory water sampling results. This announcement comes after a week during which the beach was closed due to abnormal results in seawater testing.
