Google parent Alphabet is reportedly in advanced negotiations to acquire Israeli cybersecurity startup Wiz for approximately $23 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal. If finalized, this would be Google's largest acquisition to date and the largest exit in Israeli tech history.

Wiz, a cloud security decacorn, announced two months ago that it had raised $1 billion at a $12 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to $1.9 billion.

Wiz secured the biggest funding round in Israeli tech history shortly after acquiring Israeli startup Gem Security, a Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) provider. This was Wiz’s second acquisition since its launch in 2020, following the acquisition of Israeli startup Raftt, a cloud-based developer collaboration platform, last December.
