Open AI cofounder Ilya Sutskever is establishing a new company with two other partners called Safe Superintelligence, with offices in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv, according to CTech.

The company, called Safe Superintelligence or SSI, will focus on developing safe AI technologies leading to major breakthroughs without feared dangerous spillover effects.

Two of the company's founders, Sutskever and Daniel Gross, grew up in Israel before moving to the United States, so their decision to set up shop in both countries matches their personal backgrounds.
