Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President of Microsoft, announced today on the company's website that new Windows computers would be gradually given an AI button on the bottom of the keyboard, marking the first major change to Windows PCs since the Windows button was added in the 1990s.
According to Microsoft's website, the AI button would link to Copilot, providing users with the opportunity to be able to use their computer more effectively to change settings, summarize their work, ask effective internet search questions, and quickly crop and design graphics.
For those who have existing computers equipped with Windows 11 but without the new AI button, pressing the Windows button and the C button together activates Copilot for the same purposes.
