A severe incident occurred during the last night (Monday) when Maayanei Hayeshuah Medical Center in Bnei Brak was targeted by a cyber attack that led to the shutdown of administrative computing systems.
According to the information available, the medical equipment itself was not affected, and the hospital staff continued to provide care to patients. The Ministry of Health stated that teams from the Ministry of Health and the national cyber system are at the hospital, assisting in managing the event in collaboration with the hospital staff.
The hospital management has updated that, at this stage and in coordination with the Ministry of Health, a decision has been made not to admit patients to outpatient clinics and imaging facilities. They also noted that patients in need of medical care are requested to go to nearby hospitals.
It was further stated that at this time, patients are not being transferred to other hospitals.
