Barcelona delivered an outstanding performance at the Santiago Bernabéu last night (Saturday), demolishing Real Madrid 4-0 in one of the most memorable El Clásico matches in recent history.

The defending European and Spanish champions Real Madrid, fresh off their impressive 5-2 Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund, were overwhelmed by Barcelona.

Earlier in the week, Barcelona also wowed with a 4-1 win against Bayern Munich.

After a tense first half in which no goals were scored, the match exploded into life through Robert Lewandowski's devastating two-minute double in the 54th and 56th minutes. This set the tone for what would become a historic night for the Catalans.

In addition, 17-year-old Lamin Yamal came off the bench to score, becoming the youngest goalscorer in El Clásico history.

Rafinha completed the rout with Barcelona's fourth, in a performance that will surely be remembered for years to come.

Despite Real Madrid's bright start to the match, they had no answer to Barcelona's second-half onslaught. This devastating home defeat raises questions about their defensive vulnerabilities, while Barcelona's statement victory establishes them as serious contenders for domestic and European honors this season.
