In a bold move to support its athletes and inspire Olympic success, Israel has significantly increased its financial rewards for medal winners at the Paris 2024 Games.

Here is the breakdown:

1. Gold medalist Tom Reuveny (windsurfing), will receive a tax-free grant of one million shekels (approximately $275,000 USD).

2. Silver medalists Sharon Kantor (sailing), Artem Dolgopyat (Gymnastics), Raz Hershko (judo) and Inbar Lanir (judo) will be awarded 750,000 shekels ($206,000 USD).

3. Bronze medalists Peter Paltchik (judo) will earn 500,000 shekels ($137,000 USD).

4. Coaches will receive half the amount of their athletes' grants.

5. Additional medals won by an athlete will result in an extra 50% of the original grant amount.

This represents a significant increase from the Tokyo 2020 incentives, which offered 500,000 shekels for gold, 400,000 for silver, and 300,000 for bronze.
