Daniel Peretz made his debut as the goalkeeper for Bayern Munich yesterday (Tuesday) and kept a clean sheet in a 0:4 victory over Preußen Münster in the first round of the German Cup. Peretz even made a save in the first half, although the team did not pose too much of a challenge for Bayern Munich.

After the game, the team's official Twitter ('X') account wrote: "The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in his debut. Nice game, Daniel."

At a press conference before the game, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel said: "Because I worked abroad, I'm used to things where the second goalkeeper gets a chance in the cup. This is important to Daniel. Our entire goalkeeping team is a super unit that pushes each other. Sven Ulreich did a great job, Daniel deserves it. We signed Daniel with high hopes for the future."

In the game itself, the German team did not have to exert too much in order to win. Eric Choupo-Moting scored the first goal in the 9th minute. Konrad Laimer doubled the score in the 40th minute. Frans Krätzig added the third towards the end of the first half. In the 86th minute, Mathys Tel determined the result of the game, 4-0.
