American gymnast and Olympic champion, Simone Biles, returned yesterday (Saturday) to competition after a two-year hiatus and won a gold medal when she danced and performed to the instrumental version of the song "Unicorn" by Noa Kirel, which represented Israel in the Eurovision.

Biles, considered one of the greatest athletes, decided to take a break after the 2021 Tokyo Olympics to address mental health issues, as she experienced a mental breakdown during the Olympics. In an interview with CNBC, she revealed that returning to gymnastics feels very good for her.

"I always kind of knew (that I would come back)," she said when asked why she chose to return. "This time I'm doing it for myself, I worked a lot on myself, and I believe in myself a little bit more. I came here, and I'm starting the first steps again."

Biles completed the dance to the tune of Noa Kirel's song with much applause from the audience and a score of 14.9 points.

Israeli singer Noa Kirel, who shared the dance on her Instagram page, wrote: "Simone, you represent exactly what the song represents! It's an honor for me that you chose this song. You are a true unicorn."
