The Maccabi Haifa soccer team appealed to the Israel Railways and the Ministry of Transportation to increase train services in the city ahead of the team's second round of the Champions League qualifiers. It was decided to increase train traffic.

Ahead of the planned game of the Maccabi Haifa team in which the team's journey in the Champions League qualifiers will continue, the team appealed to the Israel Railways with a request to reinforce the train lines on the route serving the stadium.

According to estimates, about 30,000 fans are expected to come to watch the game from all over the country, and therefore Maccabi Haifa contacted the train services and asked to increase the services beyond what was planned in order to allow easy access to the city and the game for all visitors.

The Israel Railways announced that despite the rumors that a shutdown of the train on the Haifa route was planned this evening, there was no such plan and that the train accepted the group's request, in order to provide a convenient and high-quality transportation service for those coming to the game.

In addition, it was announced that in preparation for the game, the Haifa HaCarmel Beach train station, adjacent to the stadium, will be staffed with shift managers, stewards, cashiers and security guards for assistance and guidance, and at the end of the game, train traffic from the Haifa HaCarmel Beach station will be increased and a train will leave the station towards the center of the country at a later time than usual.
