Afrifa stopped the clock at 20.63 seconds, and he is now looking forward to the World Championships in Budapest at the end of August. Dorfman achieved a result of 24.21 seconds.
In the field of jumps, Romy Tamir from "Maccabi Tel Aviv" also completed the double. After winning the gold in the triple jump yesterday, she was crowned tonight as the Israeli champion in the long jump with a new personal best of 6.24 meters. In the men's category, Omri Schiff "Lidar Jerusalem" also defended his title and was crowned again as the Israeli champion, setting a new personal best of 50.77 seconds. Lev Skorish from "Maccabi Tel Aviv" was crowned Israeli champion for the second consecutive year with a result of 4.90 meters in the pole vault.
Yevgenia Zabolotny from "Maccabi Rishon LeZion" was crowned the Israeli champion in the hammer throw with a distance of 53.82 meters. Margarita Blov from "HaNegev Athletes" won the gold medal with a distance of 57.87 meters, but since she does not hold Israeli citizenship, she cannot be awarded the title of Israeli champion. In the men's category, Adir Yahav from "Hapoel Oren Kfar Sava Athletes" claimed the gold with a distance of 54.54 meters.
Menachem Mendel Chen from "Maccabi Rishon LeZion" was crowned the Israeli champion in shot put for the first time in his career, with a distance of 15.94 meters. Margarita Dorozhon from "HaNegev Athletes" was crowned the Israeli champion in javelin throw with a distance of 49.70 meters.
