Due to floods: roadblocks on Route 90

Highway 90 is closed to traffic from the Lido intersection to the Mitzpe Shalem intersection and the Ein Gedi intersection heading north due to flooding and alluvium on the road

Notice to the motoring public: due to floods and drifting on the road, route 90 between the Lido junction and the Mitzpe Shalem junction is completely blocked in both directions. In addition, another section from the Ein Gedi intersection to the north was blocked.

As posted earlier, the winter weather will continue for the next few days. The rains will intensify and they will be accompanied by strong thunderstorms. Expect floods and flooding.

Tuesday: It will continue to rain at times from the north of the country to the Negev, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. There is a fear of floods in the southern and eastern streams. Along the coastal plain there is a fear of flooding. The temperatures have dropped considerably.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy. Local rain is still possible, mostly light, in the north and center of the country. Another slight drop in temperatures will apply.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. In the north of the country and the coastal plain it is still possible to be drizzle to light localized rain. The temperatures will be normal for the season.

Friday: Partly cloudy. In the north of the country and the coastal plain it is still possible to be drizzle to light localized rain. The temperatures will be normal for the season.
